Our Story
Kolob Salve & Soap Co. began with dirt under my nails and a quiet stretch of canyon sky overhead. Eight years ago, I started a small hobby farm in rural Southern Utah—learning by doing, and doing a lot. My skin bore the work, and I began crafting soaps and salves that could keep up: natural, nourishing, and rooted in old-world recipes.
As I studied herbal apothecary and explored the land around me, I discovered a wealth of healing elements—pine sap, calendula, lavender, rose—all growing within reach. Today, I still harvest many of those ingredients by hand. Other components are carefully selected from trusted vendors who share my commitment to limited-ingredient, nature-based formulations.
Kolob Salve & Soap Co. is built on a simple promise:
No dyes. No synthetic perfumes. No shortcuts.
Just small-batch skincare made with ingredients you’d recognize in a garden, a canyon trail, or a well-stocked herbal pantry.
Each product is crafted to honor the rhythm of the land and the timelessness of traditional recipes—because I believe skincare should feel like something your great-grandmother might have trusted.
These recipes begin at my kitchen counter, just as they always have—simple, slow, and steeped in tradition.
Thank you for being part of the story.
